    A hydraulic grapple is the most suitable choice. It provides a secure grip and flexible movement, allowing efficient stacking, loading, and transport of logs or timber in forestry operations.

    Protective guards are optional and installed based on the intended application. For forestry operations where falling branches and impact hazards are common, adding a protective guard is strongly recommended to enhance operator safety and equipment durability.

    Amphibious excavators are designed for marshlands, swamps, and shallow water environments. Their pontoon chassis provides high buoyancy and stability on soft ground. With extended booms and a wide operating radius, they are also suitable for deep-water construction. The square pontoon platform reduces the risk of rollover, and the lightweight manganese steel body with anti-corrosion coating ensures long service life in harsh, waterlogged conditions.

    Over 30 excavator attachments are available for forestry use, including hydraulic breakers, log grapples, and feller bunchers. In addition, the undercarriage is typically upgraded with a reinforced, widened frame and skid-plate style track guards to improve ground clearance and terrain adaptability. Protective systems may include bullet-resistant cabins, high-strength body panels, and 360° LED lighting to improve safety and visibility in rugged forest environments.

    Amphibious excavators equipped with positioning piles and extended booms can reach a maximum digging depth of 10,020 mm (10.02 meters), depending on the size of the pontoons and the configuration of the spuds. Operators can adjust the spud legs to adapt the digging depth for deeper sections of a water body. The deeper the pontoons are submerged, the greater the excavating depth achievable.
